If i were you i'd go for the mikro and the mk2 since you have great opportunities on them. That's where are all the strenghts, ease of use and charms of these products. I rather use a "generic" midi controller for random softwares, then the dedicated controllers for their dedicated softwares. I dunno man, i have a mpc renaissance and an arturia spark, they're dedicated controllers just like maschine, and they're midi controllers for other softwares as well.but when you use them as midi controller you get in the pain of mapping and some buttons are rendered useless.
